COMPASSION — CENTRAL BELFAST

Maybe you already knew it, but Belfast City has a motto - ‘Pro tanto quid retribuamus’ . This translates to, ‘What shall we give in return for so much'. That phrase has been the driving force for something we wanted to start this year. Here at Central, we wanted to create ways to give back to the city of Belfast after what has been a very difficult year for so many. One of the ways we thought we could do that was to create an online directory where we could encourage you to support local businesses in the city. These are projects based in Northern Ireland that offer the sale of products online and we’ve split them into sections for you - Food, Clothes, Lifestyle etc. We believe it is really important to think about where our money goes.

We’ve started this section with three charities we want to support this year - one local, one national and one international. If you have extra this season, why not think about helping those who have less.
